It felt so quiet without Lavi. The bookman in training has finally been hunted down and hauled by his tough grandfather and forced into a chair to catch up on everything that he had missed so far because of the missions and ocassional escapades that the redhaired liked to pull off. It’s been three days since they’ve seen him. And admittedly, the common room felt depraved of the cheerful presence. Not to mention how he must feel. Certainly not relaxed. This is why Jelena decided to visit him. She thought about the way of assuring that the old Bookman won’t throw her out for disrupting her friend’s important work. And there was one. She remembered a conversation that she had with Kanda about the advantage that he gained over the Noah of Wrath. They agreed that they should ask Lavi to tell them a little bit of something about the other recorded facts of the members of the Noah family. As an exorcist, one can not be enough prepared. The only thing left was to see if Kanda was in the mood to go with her. Something told her that it’ll be a tough bargain. @kandayu Keeper of History

Kanda noticed Jelena had really taken into account the conversation they’d had a few days ago regarding the unfortunate time in the ark and his battle with Skinn Bolic. It was true that there was a lot to be learned from Lavi because one in the position of recording important events in history it was no doubt his knowledge would be limitless. This was certainly a wonderful person to know because sometimes it takes a fresh pair of eyes to notice patterns of when certain groups show up. The Exorcists (as far as he knew) had always been in existence in some form or fashion. But it seemed that the Noah, the members of the Clan themselves only showed up at certain pivotal points unlike their Akuma puppets that always seemed to be lurking around. The two Exorcists were going to go and speak with the young Bookman immediately but unfortunately one of Komui’s inventions made life a little hectic around the place for a day. Now that things were finally back to normal Kanda had just finished taking care of other duties when he ran into the blonde young woman again. She was in the general vicinity of the Library so without having to inquire he could tell what she was on her way to do. The look on her face wasn’t apprehensive it seemed more like determination and one thing Kanda had learned about Jelena was that once she got information or a lead she would research it to its end and it seemed as if this was no different. “I see you are ready to pick Lavi’s mind.” Kanda said as he approached her.

The bitter experience with the Noahs has left them crippled. The Order has driven away their most valuable disciple, Allen Walker under the charges of him becoming a Noah. Any attempts to bring Allen back and make reason with the Central have proved fruitless. More so, this incident has caused the exorcists to be divided into two groups The ones against Allen and the ones who still had faith in him. Never has been so quiet and distrustful among peers. Such was the discord that the exorcists and finders alike set apart from eachother at the cafeteria. There were more Crows around. The Order was not so comforting of a home anymore. At such times, Jelena had already picked a side. She's an exorcist, but she's also a friend who believes in the snowy haired boy. There is no way that after the things they'd all been through, Allen would betray them. He was not that kind of a person. When it comes to the fourteenth, he was a different matter, a stranger and he would be treated as such, if the tragic outcome happened and Allen did disappear; they'd all silently swore to honor Allen and do their best to stop the fourteenth in any of his plans of becoming the next earl and continuing his reign of pain and suffering. Ever since they've had that illuminating talk, Jelena has been playing with an idea in her head. She wanted to introduce it to Kanda and the others if the idea bears fruit. Kanda was the person with great deal of experience as he has been with the Order the longest of them lot. Spotting the man, Jelena approached him in greeting. "If he is free to listen, yes. Care to join me? It'd help if you lend me your ear for a moment. Are you busy?"
